Flash Fiction Challenge: Prompt Eight

The Challenge:
It’s simple – One flash fiction story a week under 1,000 words for 52 weeks. Stories must be under 1,000 words and contain the classic story elements: protagonist, obstacles or complications, and resolution. In essence, a beginning, middle, and end.

Okay kiddos, this one is in honor of the holiday. Personally, I think V-day is highly overrated… but then again, I do have PTSD from my past two relationships. Plus, there’s just something about a fat little cherub shooting arrows filled with love that ain’t right.

Prompt #8:

Your MC is set up for Valentine’s Day, but when their date shows up they can’t believe who the other person is. . .
